A Very Funky Weekend!

We had a blast at the Funky Junk Sisters Show this past weekend. As usual, I never get all the pictures taken at shows that I want. You can check out Martha's blog for more.

I met some of the nicest people
ever at this show, all the vendors were so sweet and I actually met a few who read my blog! Since I figure only about 12 people actually read my blog, I was so excited!!

I also want to thank Linda & Dixie, the Funky Junk Sisters, for putting on such an awesome show with so much talent.

It was such a relaxed vibe and so much fun, thank you ladies! We never could pin down both of them for group pic but we did manage one pic w/ Dixie - see Martha's blog.

Martha's son Jake (not his normal face) & my eldest daughter Cara

Martha's booth, loved the pop of lime green!

The pics below are of other booths, I didn't get all their names, so sorry!

This was Cari's booth, she was next to me & is one of the Sisters on The Fly who have the fabulous vintage trailers (which I of course did not get a picture of!)

This was my neighbor across from me, 4th Ave, they are a group of 3 girlfriends from Puyallup that all live on the same street, such cute & talented ladies!

Todays Country Store, wonderful display and such great ladies - I have to take a weekend to visit their store in Sumner, WA which is next door to Puyallup.

Isabella's Blue, she has an incredible boho-chic style

My next adventure - Barnhouse, July 31st !

Stay tuned........

Funky Junk Sisters Show - Sneak Peeks!

It's been a busy week getting ready for the Funky Junk Sisters Show, I wanted to share some of the treasures I'm taking with me.

I am so excited for this show for many reasons. For one thing, I've never been to Puyallup, Washington! I get to meet lots of creative new people, I'm sure the vendors are going to be fantastic and I can't wait to meet the Funky Junk Sisters in person, Dixie and Linda!

Friday night, there's a breast cancer fund raising dance after the evening sale, the famous Sue Whitney of Junk Market is coming and oh there's too much to list! You can click on the show poster on my sidebar to visit their blog which has all the info!
Hope to see you there!

Sale dates: May 14th 6-9pm May 15th 10-4pm

This is Esther, one of our new chicks (Molly's new favorite) she's a Brahma breed, don't you just love her feet? Looks like she's wearing little chicken pantaloons! She is not going with me to Puyallup, she was just paying a visit to my barn when I was taking pictures.

I'll be posting more next week!

AUNT BEE'S SHOW PICS!

Here are a few pics of my booth at the Aunt Bee & Friends Show this past weekend in Salem. It was a great show with lots of flowers, garden things, vintage treasures and handcrafted goods, all by local vendors.

I also wanted to share some pics of other items offered, most of these vendors will also be at the Molly Mo's Antique Faire on August 21st

Adorable clothespin holders

This is an awesome memo board made from an old frame and wire fencing

Burlap table runners by Carol Curtis, I had to have one!

Larena & Belinda's booth (Aunt Bee's House)

Sweet little pillows made by Janet Sedor (Whatevers)

loved, loved this table of Janet's

Little garden stakes by Janet

Julie Webber's (A Vintage Touch by J) fabulous vintage creations and tablescapes

Yummy handmade soaps & pillows by Carol Curtis

These were wonderful twig trellises made by Molly Ferder, I had to have one these also!

Danni's fabulous old secretary desk & creative trunk top - such a great idea!

The sweetest ironing board cover EVER.....
Ok, this is Julie Webber's vintage apron ironing board cover she created. She wouldn't sell it to me, so I contemplated stealing it while she was distracted. Unfortunately, I was not successful and will just have to have her make me one with some aprons I have. Julie, if you're reading this, you really need to share with us all, it's not fair to make us suffer......
