Great Show & Even Greater Friends!

Welcome to the sale!

Sorry this posting is a little later than I had planned. The recovery period after a show for me takes a few days, then we had spring break this week and yikes! - it's Friday already.

We had a fabulous show with lots of customers excited for spring to start and decorate their homes and gardens! By noon the shop looked a little empty after the initial buying frenzy but there were still lots of great things to choose from and I thank you all for coming out. I love seeing each and every one of you and know many of you travel several hours, I do appreciate you taking the time to visit me.

Most people were making the rounds of all four sales and having a fun day (which is exactly what we had in mind when planning this sale), thank you again and I'm looking forward to next year!

My next event will be at Monticello Marketplace's spring show in Portland April 24th through May 24th with my buddies Martha and Joy. Be sure to check back for updates! Now I'm going to take a nap.....I wish.

Here are the four friends: me, Cindy, Joy & Martha
tired but excited the night before the shows at Tarte.

It's been a very busy past few days getting the final touches in place for the 4 Friends sale this Saturday the 21st at Molly Mo's.
I wanted to show you a few more pics of the shop, I'm hoping for good weather on Saturday, at least no rain or wind since I like to put things outside. I'm excited to have the "Coffee Pair" van here on the morning of the sale selling coffee drinks and yummy baked goods for hungry customers. The Coffee Pair is a new mobile coffee business owned by my friends Larena and Mandy.
You may know Larena from Blackberry Junction in Albany, she recently sold this business. Mandy is a licensed caterer who also had her business "Cafe Venae" at Blackberry Junction. Mandy has also been the food vendor at my antique faire for the past few years - she's a fabulous baker and both ladies are very sweet and friendly, I hope you stop by their van for a treat and say hello!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR AND SO IS A SALE!

I'm impatiently awaiting spring's arrival, the recent snow did not help my impatience and I'm still nursing sweet pea starts inside because it's too cold to plant them - they're quickly taking over my kitchen window because they love the warmth! Can you blame them?

Oh well, when you live in the Pacific NW and it's spring, you have to get used to rain, snow, ice and sun all within a day's time! It's wo
rth the wait though when all those gorgeous flowers are in bloom and the grass is so sweet and green.

Since I can't do too much in my garden just yet, I've been busy getting ready for the 4 Friends sale on March 21st - you don't want to miss it! Four locations with wonderful finds offered by very talented women, see the post at right for more info. This is our second year, we had a so much fun last year that we wanted to to do it again and actually added a new "friend" who's really an old friend, Martha of Vintage Trifles! If you're not familiar with her, check out her blog to see some of her fabulous creations!

I've posted some more pics of things that will be for sale at the show, I'm having a hard time finding enough room for everything. I always have way too much for my little barn to hold but the more the merrier, right? Hope you can make it!

I succumbed to pressure........

All my blogger friends have been asking "so when are you starting your blog" and my reply was usually, "pretty soon" which I've been saying for about a year now. Hopefully, you'll all be kind and not expect too much from this newbie to blogging!

I am excited to share with you about upcoming events that I host in my barn on my property and the shows I'll be doing this coming year. I'll also be giving sneek peeks of my junking finds that will be for sale!

Here are some pics of items that will be available at our 4 Friends sale on March 21st, there's tons more but you'll have to come out to see it all!

I've also thrown in some shots of my chickens, they are fun to have and once you've had a farm fresh egg, you'll never go back to store bought.

Check back soon for more!
